A new year represents many things to people. Personally, I look at it as a fresh start. And in that spirit, I present a new journey for Staffing Industry Review. We are proud to give you a revamped magazine, with fresh content and feel. The magazine’s mission has always been to help you compete in today’s fast-changing economy where talent is a major competitive advantage. That has not changed. We want to continue to arm you with information — techniques and tools that can improve your business — but in a way that gives you the most bang for your time.

Our content still comes from experts in the ecosystem — SIA analysts and editors as well as experienced professionals from the industry continue to provide their expertise to elevate you and the industry.

Toward that goal, we focus on bringing you data through our research in “Ahead of the Curve,” legal and regulatory updates in “Compliance Branch,” as well as tech trends, C-suite reflections and more. Our popular editorial lists, such as this issue’s Staffing 100, will still be in the magazine, but with a difference. The honorees’ photos, along with their company and title, will be published, while their profiles will be available online for your perusal. We want to be able to give our readers more content that they can browse.

Congratulations to those who made the 2019 Staffing 100. The editorial team is delighted to feature this eminent group who continue to uplift the ecosystem while expanding its scope. Similarly, Senior Managing Editor Craig Johnson’s interview with Executive Forum keynote speaker Byron Reese illustrates the opportunities that artificial intelligence has in store for us. And contributing writer Leslie Stevens-Huffman explores the data-centric MSP that leverages predictive analytics to meet evolving business and talent needs.

This magazine is distributed at the Executive Forum. If you don’t already receive it, take the time to subscribe to us. We are always happy to hear any ideas and suggestions in person or in writing. We look forward to meeting many of you at the Forum. Do stop by the SIA booth and say hi. Best wishes for 2019 and thanks for your readership.
