It’s a difficult time in the world of work. Political uncertainty, Brexit, youth unemployment and immigration — all challenging topics in Europe as elsewhere — have changed the way business is conducted. Societies are altering, changing how talent, including temporary workers, are viewed and treated. Leading the charge in this evolving competitive industry are the honourees of the 2019 Staffing 100 Europe list.

We salute this dynamic group. This list contains CEOs, strategists, technologists, reformers — men and women passionate about the industry, committed to improving the lives of both their internal staff and the talent they place. Strategic in their approaches to growth, they are navigating this complex ecosystem, launching new programs, undertaking geographic expansions and making investments in both technologies and innovation.

As a result, they have helped shape the development of a market estimated to be worth about €171.9 billion in 2018. Where do they hail from? Britain comprises the lion’s share of the list, at 40, while France accounts for 18 and Holland 12. Italy, Germany and Ireland contributed eight, six and five, respectively. The rest hail from Switzerland, Spain, Russia, Romania, Poland, Finland, Croatia and Iran. They reflect the diversity of staffing markers in Europe. In terms of gender diversity, there were 23 women on the list compared to 20 last year.

The 2019 Staffing 100 Europe list, sponsored by Bullhorn, is not a ranking. We understand it’s tricky to measure influence, so this list is a nod to those taking our ecosystem forward. These influencers bring benefits to not only those in the industry and their clients but also to the millions of job seekers.

Congratulations to the 2019 Staffing 100 Europe honourees. Their profiles area available here.
