From taking a client focus to ensuring the right culture, the 94 firms on Staffing Industry Analysts’ 2019 List of Fastest-Growing US Staffing Firms used several strategies to boost growth.
Making sure workers have the right training and access to resources — along with an understanding of the impact they have in the success of the company — also played a role.
“I think we do a very good job of communicating the vision; communicating to them how they can play a part,” says Alyssa Daugherty, head of Charlotte and the Southeast for Phaidon International Inc., one of the top 10 fastest-growing firms. “We believe in our clients, we believe in the candidates that we work with and we believe in the people we employ and bring into the business.”
To qualify for the list, staffing firms had to post revenue of at least $1 million in 2014 and have a compound annual growth rate of at least 15% between 2014 and 2018. However, the median CAGR for revenue among firms on the list was 27.4%, an
increase from the median 26.9% on last year’s list.
The 10 fastest-growing firms among the 94 companies on the list had a median CAGR of 73.4%. And in a first, there is a nonprofit staffing firm in this year’s top 10.
