Of the global recruitment process outsourcing market’s estimated $7.4 billion in 2021 revenue, 31% came from Europe, the Middle East and Africa. A report by SIA found that European RPO revenue in Europe had grown 21% between 2020 and 2021. However, SIA forecast growth may slow this year despite a pipeline of interest and opportunity for RPO; clients are becoming more hesitant because of macroeconomic uncertainty.

Healthcare ranks as the most attractive staffing segment in the UK following a considerable increase in demand during the pandemic as well as high levels of demand due to skill shortages, according to a report by SIA. The second-most-attractive staffing segment in the UK was engineering and information technology. Last year, IT had ranked as the most attractive segment. All three segments include highly trained workers and are seeing significant growth in future demand.
